Mission Statement

The Madison History Roundtable is dedicated to the discussion and preservation of American history.  Founded in 1954 as the Madison Civil War Roundtable, the group has expanded to a broad area of American history topics; with the emphasis on Civil War, U.S. military and Wisconsin history.  Each meeting offers a featured speaker who presents a historical topic followed by a group discussion.  If you have an interest in history, consider joining the Madison History Roundtable meetings.  You can contact us via email at: madhrt@googlegrooup.com, or contact William Sayles at 608 274 9342.  To view the speaker schedule or learn more about the Madison History Roundtable visit us on the web at www.mhrt.info or Facebook; search on Madison History Roundtable.
